I just felt the need to post a quick update on the progress of Phoenix, since it’s sort of been on hold over the past couple months. Not just sort of, actually – I’ve done literally no work whatsoever on it during that time.
The reason as to why Phoenix has been on hold for so long is basically two-fold. First of all, I had three different music-related gigs last month, and a lot of my time went towards practicing and preparing for those. One of them in particular drained so much of my time and energy that I simply didn’t have any for working on Phoenix.
Secondly, following the re-emergence of my DOOM mapping portfolio on this website, my activity on that front has spiked monumentally this month. I’m working on one DOOM map as a personal project, and I also attached myself to two other projects. Details on all of those will be revealed down the line.
Rest assured, though, that Phoenix is not cancelled by any means. I’m determined to finish it, only it might take longer than usual due to the other projects I’m working on at the moment. As such, I can’t give a release date for Phoenix as of yet either, but I’ll at least try for a release late this year.
With that said, bye for now!
